During my recent stay at Hospedaria Gaúcha, I found the charming pousada nestled among serene gardens just a short distance from Canela's center. While the accommodations offered both cozy room service and free WiFi—which I relied upon to jot down notes for my upcoming beer reviews—I was disappointed by the breakfast buffet, which lacked variety and left much to be desired for the price paid. Despite this oversight, the peaceful location and proximity to key attractions, like the Stone Church and local parks, made for a lovely ambiance. I had hoped for a few more culinary delights to fuel my exploration of the region’s renowned breweries, but the warm atmosphere and attentive staff offered a semblance of comfort on chilly mornings. If you're considering Hospedaria Gaúcha, it may suit those primarily in search of serenity, albeit with a few culinary expectations to manage.
